We at Bubble Light Productions Limited care about your privacy. We’ve written this Privacy Policy so you know what information we collect about you when you use our website and our course, as well as why and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy is written with users 13 years and up in mind and we encourage all users to be aware of their privacy rights. We also encourage parents and guardians to assist and guide with online privacy generally and with reading this Privacy Policy.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you use our website and create an account to access our course, we will only collect certain information about you. This information may include:

  • Your name;

  • Your email address;

  • Your address;

  • Your phone number;

  • Payment information.

WHY WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION

Name, email, address and phone number all fall under contact data and are necessary for us to provide you with our service, otherwise known as performing our contract, as we must be able to know who you are and contact you if there are any problems.

Similarly, we must take payment information such as card details in order to process your payment for the course and provide it to you, which is also performing our contract.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not and will not share any information you provide us unless we absolutely have to in order to provide you with our course and service. Currently information is only shared with 2 partners: Stripe, which processes payments for us; and Squarespace, which hosts the Bubble Light Productions Limited website. In both cases we control what information of yours these partners receive and what they do with it.

DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE US YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

In order to give you access to the Bubble Light Productions Limited course, we must take your name, email address, and payment information during the payment process. Giving us your address and phone number is optional as part of your account management but could help us get in contact with you if there are any problems.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

Your information will only be kept for a period of 7 years, starting from the first day of September after your last payment. After 7 years your account, including all of your contact data, will be deleted, as well as our records of your financial data, and where possible we will contact you to let you know this is happening. We keep your information for 7 years so we may reference it, in the case of any legal disputes over the service we provide.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE OVER YOUR INFORMATION?

  • Right to Access the personal information we have about you.

  • Right to Rectification – to correct any personal information that is wrong or incomplete. You should be able to correct any information from your account but please inform us as soon as possible if you can’t and any information changes.

  • Right to Request Erasure of your personal information, meaning to remove or delete the information we have of yours. However, you can only request this in certain situations, such as where you think we’re using your information unlawfully or you’ve used your right to object to processing.

  • Right to Object to Processing when we are relying on legitimate interest to use your information and you object to us using it where you think it might impact your interests, rights or freedoms.

  • Right to Portability when we are using your information with your consent or to perform a contract, you may ask for a copy in structured, commonly-used, machine readable format, or for us to give it to another organisation.

  • Right to Restriction of Processing – you can ask us to restrict our use of your information, meaning that we keep it but do not use it, in certain situations such as: contesting the accuracy of your information, until we verify it; we’re using your information unlawfully but you do not want it erased; your information is no longer used but is kept for potential use in a legal claim; you’ve used your right to object to processing and we’re confirming there are legitimate overriding grounds.

  • Right to Not be subject to Automated Decision Making – meaning if we use only an automated system to make a decision about you that has a legal effect concerning you, you can request a non-automated decision. Bubble Light Productions Limited currently doesn’t use any automated decision making.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent where we are using consent as our lawful basis for using your information.

We use cookies on our website in order to make it work properly and we only use cookies that are essential for this in order to do so.

The cookies we have are used for storing your history on our site, such as cart history so that you can place orders and stay logged in to your account, as well as access the Bubble Light Productions Limited course. We also use cookies to enable certain features such as the videos on the pages.
