To Fly
a micro short animated film
In the style of ‘The Dog in the Long Grass’, To Fly is designed to capture the fascination we have with the want to fly across two shots using the editing technique, the Kuleshov Effect, where we see one image followed by a person’s reaction and establish a thought or feeling between the two.
The aim was to create a relaxing and thoughtful short little film and its simplicity show how minimalism can be used to tell comforting stories.
